Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of analysts who study military programs to help top leaders make smart decisions about budgets, schedules, and risks in Navy and Marine Corps operations.
You'll oversee data analysis, build tools for tracking performance, and evaluate everything from costs to battlefield strategies.

You will serve as a SUPV OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the PROGRAMS ANALYSIS & EVALUATION DIV. of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized Experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing operations research analysts AND computer scientists who curate financial AND performance data and develop software tools for analysts and dashboards/visualizations for senior leaders; Leading multi-disciplinary teams to provide data-driven decision support AND analysis to senior leaders on short notice for programs, requirements, schedules, costs AND operational risks; Utilizing Planning, Programming, Budgeting, AND Execution functions; AND Utilizing Program Management Processes (e.g.
Program Objective Memorandum (POM)) for a large organization."
