Job Description

Summary

This job involves managing vending machines and coin-operated video games on a military base by ordering supplies, tracking stock, collecting money, and doing basic maintenance.

It also includes driving to deliver items around the site. A good fit would be someone with inventory experience, especially in food or vending, who is reliable and comfortable with hands-on tasks.

Key Requirements

  • Work experience in supply management or inventory control related to vending or similar operations
  • High school diploma (preferred)
  • At least 2 years' experience managing food-related inventory (highly preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience in vending machine maintenance (highly preferred)
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for deliveries
  • Skills in collecting and safeguarding revenue
  • Capability to perform minor repairs on vending machines

Full Job Description

This position is located at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in McAlester, Oklahoma.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience related to the duties described above that included the skills knowledge and ability to successfully performed the duties of the position.

A high school diploma is preferred. Experience must be clearly reflected on Resume to receive credit.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": At least 2 years' experience managing food related inventory.

At least 1 years' experience in vending machine maintenance. Applicants who meet Highly Preferred Criteria will be referred to management first. Major Duties:

  • Orders and maintains adequate supply levels and stock usage reports for assigned vending and or coin operated video game machines located on the installation.
  • Places orders with local vendors based on stock levels. Responsible for collecting and safeguarding collected revenue from machines.
  • May perform minor repair and maintenance of vending machines.
  • Operates a motor vehicle to deliver goods from stock room to various vending machine locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
