This job involves managing inventory and supplies for an enlisted club at a U.S.
Air Force base in Japan, including ordering items, tracking stock levels, conducting inventories, and handling paperwork for receipts and issues. It's a full-time role open to U.S.
citizens and legal residents living nearby, with preferences for military families and veterans.
A good fit would be someone organized with hands-on experience in stock control or warehouse tasks, who can handle routine clerical work and follow procedures accurately.
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Enlisted Club, Yokota AB Japan. This is Regular Full-Time Position, guaranteed 35-40 hours per week.

Qualifying Experience: Experience which provided knowledge of standardized supply regulation, policies, procedures, or other instructions relating to the specific functions assigned.
Requires familiarity with one or more automated supply data bases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports.
Knowledge of the structure of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced. Knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments and to resolve recurring problems.
Major Duties:
Oversees stock at or within prescribed levels and establishes or adjusts stock levels and reorders using prescribed procedures; conducts physical inventories and adjusts and/or maintains inventory, and property account records; initiates, prepares, edits, and processes requisitions to appropriate supply organizations; searches catalogs, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers or to find authorized substitutes for stock items; processes documentation for stock item receipts, maintains such items in a supply room or similar storage area, issues material to work center personnel, keeps local stock records, reorders when stocks are low or at a specified reorder point, prepares standard reports such as variances between actual and estimated costs, and performs related stock receipt, storage, control, and issue functions for expendable and nonexpendable items for the organization; identifies requirements and requisitions, issues, or distributes office and administrative supplies, forms, publications, or other printed materials; maintains an accurate accounting and reporting system for nonexpendable property and performs standardized property management control processes.
Examines items received; notes overages, shortages, or any damage incurred in shipping. Prepares reports as required. Performs other related duties as assigned.
