You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND (MSC), TOTAL FORCE MANAGEMENT (TFM) PROGRAM OFFICE (N1), N15 STRATEGIC SEALIFT OFFICERS FORCE (SSOF), AFFAIRS OFFICE of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Mastery experience of the Merchant Marine and the working environment shipboard on a civilian operated ship.
Experience with civilian crewed ship requirements, including shipboard personnel management, training, International Safety Management (ISM), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) applicable to Shipping typically found in an individual having achieved an upper-level unlimited merchant marine license (First Officer or First Assistant Engineer Officer or higher) issued by the U.S.
Coast Guard (USCG). Extensive experience of USCG credentialing requirements for merchant mariners.
Mastery experience of principles and methods for curriculum management, training design, and the teaching and instruction of individuals and groups to include the measurement of training effectiveness.
Experience serving as a primary policy advisor to higher- level management on training delivery administration.
Expert experience of the fundamentals of strategic planning, establishing immediate and long-term goals and objectives, and setting mission priorities as they related to total SSO development and education.
