This job is for a shift supervisor in the Army's police force in Hawaii, where you'll oversee officers, manage daily operations, review reports, and respond to emergencies to keep the installation safe.
It's ideal for someone with hands-on police experience who enjoys leading a team in a beautiful but expensive location with plenty of outdoor fun.
You'll handle everything from traffic control to investigating incidents while ensuring your team follows procedures.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii, Directorate of Emergency Services. Hawaii is a beautiful state, but has a high cost of living.
Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year round including surfing, paddling, diving, fishing, and hiking.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques of law enforcement, physical security and force protection to include search and seizure; performing a variety of traffic control duties AND; completing and documenting reports/forms as necessary to explain the facts surrounding law enforcement actions.
