Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading operations for a naval intelligence center focused on maritime engagement, including managing staff, budgets, personnel evaluations, and daily activities like planning meetings and supporting business objectives.
It requires overseeing logistics, contracting, and coordination across government agencies to keep everything running smoothly.
A good fit would be someone with strong leadership experience in military or government settings, especially in administration and operations, who can handle multiple tasks and represent executives in high-level discussions.
You will serve as the Brooks Center for Maritime Engagement (BCME) Operations Officer reporting directly to the Executive Officer (XO). This position is located in the OFFICE OF MARITIME ENGAGEMENT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG/GS-13).
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1.) Manage and organize the Command group staff that could include: Official Command correspondence, fitness reports (FITREPS), Evaluations, Military manpower, Civilian hiring and onboarding actions (to include interns), and Command budget/financial oversight (government purchase card GPC); 2.)Oversee tasking, and Command battle rhythm planning and execution for logistics, contracting, and space requirements; 3.) Ensure agendas are developed and coordinated within the Command group, across DON Enterprise and with other agencies as needed.
4.) Manage the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) to execute Performance Appraisals and Assessments, as well as Civilian Awards.
