Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the MRO Engineering Department/Depot Support Team of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing program sustainment and acquisition engineering support; 2) Effectively manage technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system; 3) Evaluate new approaches, guides, and standards to make engineering decisions.

  • You will serve as a Branch Head within the Production Line Support Division of the MRO Engineering Department/Depot Support Team.
  • You will prioritize and oversee workload within respective Branch to meet the needs of MRO Production.
  • You will develop, submit, and execute indirect and direct budget requirements to ensure that adequate resources are available to support production requirements as well as new capability establishment efforts.
  • You will develop and certify the requirements for qualified engineering personnel, processes, and facilities.
  • You will provide resources and processes to support and maintain the intended mission capability, to maintain inherent design capabilities of the system/equipment at the minimum expenditure of resources.
