Full Job Description

This vacancy is for a GS-0343-15, Supervisory Management & Program Analyst located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S.

Coast Guard, Office of Boat Forces (CG-731) in Washington, District of Columbia.

To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the federal sector.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.

Managing and Supervising Teams - Assigning responsibility for incoming work to appropriate office members; setting schedules/timelines for review/completion.

Knowledge of Boat Forces National Guidelines and Best Practices - Serving as the boat forces enterprise liaison with representatives and other stakeholders for implementation of the boat forces enterprise concepts.

Boat Forces Programs - Overseeing the development and maintenance of related Program Resource Proposals (RPs) as they pertain to boat forces enterprise programs for current and future requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement - Partnering with leadership to develop, promote, and maintain collaborative relationships within federal, state, local, and industry partners.

You will serve as a Supervisory Management & Program Analyst (Boat Forces) and be responsible for managing and representing the functions of the office and its divisions as directed by the Chief, Office of Boat Forces.

Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.

Typical work assignments include: The day-to day management of the Office of Boat Forces, maintaining oversight of all work in progress, monitoring for timeliness of completion and supervising work.

Providing budget coordination and execution oversight for the Office of Boat Forces.

Translating organizational concepts based on policy, doctrine, technologies, material, staffing requirements, and limited resources into a fully integrated and resourced boat forces enterprise concept.

Partnering with CG HQ Directorates to develop, promote, and maintain collaborative relationships within DHS, DoD, and other federal, state, local, and industry partners.
