Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S.
Customs and Border Protection, Office of Human Resources Management, HR Policy and Programs Directorate/National Program Division/ Workers' Compensation Branch located in one of the following locations: Bloomington, MN Buffalo, NY Dallas, TX Indianapolis, IN Jacksonville, FL Washington, DC Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Managing or overseeing a workers' compensation or employee benefits program, including processing and adjudicating claims in accordance with the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA) or similar laws and regulations Providing authoritative guidance and technical advice to staff, leadership, and stakeholders on complex workers' compensation or employee benefits cases, including interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, and policies Supervising or leading a team of human resources professionals, including assigning work, evaluating performance, providing training, and resolving employee relations issues Developing and implementing program improvements, such as quality assurance processes, automation tools, or data analytics to enhance program efficiency and compliance NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.

This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
