Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.

Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in Federal Service.

For the GS-14, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-13 if outside the Federal service Specialized experience is defined as: Directing, developing, and planning for the deployment and life cycle replacement of IT resources, OR experience conducting studies to make recommendations on modifications and enhancements, to existing asset/inventory management processes.

You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, 90 days after competitive appointment requirements and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Major Duties:

  • Incumbent provides both technical and administrative oversight to General Schedule and Cyber Excepted Service employees finances through both working capital and appropriate funding.
  • Defines and implement logistical policies, procedures, and best practices for the ocnti8nual improvement of Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM), Life Cycle Replacement (LCR) of hardware worldwide.
  • Incumbent is responsible for facilitating ongoing communication with appropriate stakeholders to establish and maintains accountability and keeping abreast of new IT asset technology and potential impact to standards and acquisition.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, conceives and articulates the need for modifications and enhancements to existing asset/inventory management processes and standards that affect the reliability and efficiency of the agency's enterprise logistics services.
  • Participates or leads fielding and testing of hardware and software solutions and associated product/project documentation to validate suitability.
