This job involves leading a team as the deputy head of an IT division in a naval research center, focusing on managing cybersecurity, networks, and information systems to keep everything secure and up-to-date.
You'll oversee policies, budgets, and modern tech upgrades while ensuring smooth operations for the organization's digital infrastructure.

You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Information Technology Division (C/104), Operations Department (C/10) of Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWC PHILA DIV).
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 pay band (GS-13/14 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing an Information Technology program to ensure security policies, procedures, or measures are implemented to safeguard information systems or networks of an organization's information technology infrastructure.
Examples of qualifying experience may include administration of enterprise network and information technology environments to ensure that security policies, technical controls, and protective measures are fully implemented across an organization's network infrastructure.
Experience should reflect responsibility for safeguarding networked systems, enforcing security standards, and maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT resources.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
