Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves planning, overseeing, and troubleshooting ship maintenance and repair projects for the U.S.
Navy, ensuring everything runs on time and meets quality standards while working with teams and contractors. It's based in Bahrain and focuses on supporting naval operations in the region.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on experience in shipbuilding or engineering who enjoys solving technical problems and coordinating with multiple groups.
You will serve as a SHIPBUILDING SPECIALIST in the Waterfront Operations Department Code B300 of FW DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET BAHRAIN Bahrain.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must include: 1) Recommending alternatives to assist in solving technical problems associated with all facets of ship maintenance.
2) Developing work specifications, detailed reports and statements of work to support the planning of shipbuilding, ship repair, and modernization availabilities.
3) Reviewing and invoking technical requirements to ensure compliance with appropriate shipbuilding procedures, contracts and specifications during the planning and execution stage.
4) Providing oversight of shipboard production work to ensure projects are completed according to schedule, work specification and quality.
