Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing budgeting and planning processes for naval programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support military capabilities and readiness.
You'll coordinate across teams, analyze funding impacts, and prepare reports for high-level decision-makers in the Navy.

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the PROGRAM DIVISION of NAVAL INFORMATION FORCES.
To qualify for the GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing and developing command Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) efforts to support the Naval Capability Development Process.
Experience displaying expert level knowledge of Chief of Naval Operations, United States Fleet Forces Command, and Department of War (DoW) PPBE processes and timelines.
Experience demonstrating attention to detail with credible, verifiable background in analysis and reporting.
Experience applying mastery of advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical and evaluation methods and techniques to perform assessments of annual DoW PPBE.
Experience implementing comprehensive knowledge of service requirement development systems, to include Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS).
Experience demonstrating a working knowledge of the Navy resource allocation process and associated PBIS database.
Experience coordinating efforts of multiple organization segments to meet program requirements and objectives within the available resources.
Experience establishing and prioritizing work to meet fluctuating deadlines, respond to a variety of requirements, and keep other work moving toward completion.
Experience effectively communicating, orally and in writing, to produce final products for use by the Commander in presenting strategy, policy, planning, and operational issues.
