The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated Semi-Skilled Laborers to join our Division of Installation Maintenance.
In this role, you will play a vital part in performing manual labor and providing essential support to maintenance staff at our Fort Indiantown Gap facility.

In this position, you will use a wide range of construction, groundskeeping, and maintenance tools and equipment, often applying skills developed through hands-on experience.
You will perform minor repairs and routine groundskeeping duties with a high degree of independence, with work reviewed upon completion.
Under the direction of maintenance staff, you will operate hand tools and carry out basic manual labor tasks.
Responsibilities include mowing, pruning, and assisting with general landscaping activities such as mulching, seeding, and maintaining flower beds.
You will operate mechanized and motorized groundskeeping equipment, including push mowers, riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, and string trimmers.
Additional duties involve clearing stones from sidewalks and roadways, collecting and disposing of debris such as dead branches, weeds, and trash, and removing snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, and parking areas as needed.
