Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role is for a security specialist who will advise the Special Security Officer and Senior Intelligence Officer on all special security issues related to the Department of the Navy.
The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing security policies and procedures, and providing recommendations to resolve vulnerabilities in security programs.
You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST for the DIRECTOR OF INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY (N2) of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT.
SALARY GS-12: $93,445 - $121,482 GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359 A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
FOR GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing security policies and procedures by providing recommendations to resolve vulnerabilities of a security program.
FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in analyzing security policies and procedures by providing recommendations to resolve vulnerabilities of a security program.
