Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

You will serve as an INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Command Security Division (N021), Office of the Chief of Staff (N02), Military Sealift Command (MSC) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, developing guidelines, administering and implementing instructions for a comprehensive information security program to resolve security issues and problems.
Experience assisting the physical security officer with periodic reviews of information security programs for MSC ashore and afloat assets worldwide, identifying any areas of procedural or equipment weakness, recommending appropriate remedial action for accomplishment either by shore support staff or others.
Experience preparing and coordinating information security training as applicable to personnel ashore and afloat and ensuring that personnel on official travel are briefed prior to their departure on the area for threat assessments.
Experience providing ashore intelligence assistance and quality assurance inspections (QAIs) and other contract oversight functions to ensure contractor compliance with information security requirements.
Experience applying risk management as appropriate for the safeguarding of classified information and monitoring its effectiveness in the command.
