Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and overseeing security programs for a submarine force unit in the U.S. Navy, focusing on protecting sensitive information, personnel, and facilities.
You'll guide teams on security policies, investigate issues, and ensure everything complies with military rules.

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Commander Submarine Force of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing senior leadership security functions for a team or unit such as: exhibiting a comprehensive knowledge of Special Compartmented Information (SCI) programs and regulations to perform security program management and compliance oversight; utilizing advisory and communication skills in a senior security context; and/or exercising an integrated understanding of core security disciplines (Physical, Personnel, Information).
