Full Job Description

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 47th Support Squadron, the XL Landings, located at Laughlin, AFB, Del Rio, Texas.

This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgement in sequencing tasks.

Knowledge of sanitation standards for handling and serving food, and cleaning equipment and work area. Ability to follow cash handling procedures.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:

Assists in the operation and maintenance of XL Landings facilities to include dining area, kitchen, bar, patio, and deck areas for authorized patrons.

Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition and check-lists are completed. Ensure work area set up and is stocked at all times. Assist customers with ordering or questions related to menu.

Answers telephones. Performs opening and closing duties related to operating cash register/ POS, rings up food/ beverage orders. Processing sales, credit cards/ cash handling and related paperwork.

May perform duties related to food service such as assisting in setting up replenishing condiments/ beverages.

May conduct/assist in daily, weekly, monthly and annual inventories regarding funds, equipment, food products and assets.

Sets up areas for scheduled & daily events; records attendance; takes reservations and payments; notifies management of schedule changes; decorates facility for special events, activities, or parties.

Helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, May be asked to work in other facilities under Club Management.

Will have to use personal vehicle to come and go to main club facility for pick up and drop off money bags or deposits, along with needed or required supplies.
