Full Job Description

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year round including surfing, paddling, diving, fishing, and hiking.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes acquiring real property rights in fee or by lease; utilize knowledge of real property appraisal process and conducting compliance inspections of real property.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Major Duties:

  • As the Realty Specialist, responsible for real property inventory, real property audit readiness, real estate transactions, real property assignments, and space utilization management.
  • Facilitate real property space assignments, issues and maintains facility assignment (key issue) documentation.
  • Analyzes issues according to pertinent policy and regulation and proposes solutions for the issues.
