Full Job Description

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the MRO ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT/DEPOT SUPPORT TEAM of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expertise in aviation Quality Assurance; 2) Ensuring that safety of flight requirements is met; 3) Evaluating and determining acceptability and adequacy of functional entities that impact quality; 4) Controlling verification techniques.

  • You will conduct quality related training for QA, production and support personnel throughout the FRC.
  • You will identify and administer testing, and evaluation requirements.
  • You will manage external deficiency reporting program.
  • You will ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented under the command are sustained over time.
  • You will conduct verifications and audits to determine conformance to process, product and procedural requirements.
