Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight, OR Associate's degree with 3 years of such experience, OR High school diploma with 5 years of such experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to supervise staff while managing a caseload of offenders
- Skills in delivering evidence-based programming and ensuring documentation in offender management systems
- Experience in discharge planning, aftercare referrals, and community partnerships for employment, housing, and rehabilitation
- Participation in multi-disciplinary teams, volunteer recruitment, and program evaluation
- Successful completion of 4 weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire
Full Job Description
- Supervises staff while maintaining a caseload.
- Ensures programming and services are provided to all offenders beginning 24 months prior to release.
- Provides hands on delivery and oversight of evidence-based programming that is essential to meeting the needs of releasing offenders.
- Ensures all pertinent information is documented in the Offender Management System.
- Provides program specific lectures.
- Provides discharge/aftercare planning referral services for successful community reintegration through SCDC partners for employment, housing, and vocational rehabilitation.
- Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team for purposes of program evaluation and case management consultation.
- Assists in recruiting volunteers from the community to provide beneficial programs to inmates.
- Responds to requests for information.
- Completes assigned monthly reports.
- Participates in staff meetings and attend training sessions as required.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire

A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight;
OR
An associate's degree and 3 years relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight;
OR
A high school diploma and 5 years relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight.
Must have 3 years supervisory experience.
