This job involves leading a team of nuclear engineers and support staff at a naval shipyard in Hawaii, focusing on creating and managing training programs to keep nuclear power plant experts skilled and ready.
You'll handle supervision, scheduling, and coordination to ensure efficient and high-quality training that supports naval operations.

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (NUCLEAR) in the NUCLEAR ENGINEERING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT, CODE 2300 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Generating or approving training material and plans to implement a nuclear training program for qualifying and maintaining the proficiency of nuclear engineers to ensure continued support of a naval nuclear power plant.
