Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a nuclear engineer at a naval shipyard in Hawaii, where you'll plan, coordinate, and oversee projects to refuel, repair, and maintain nuclear reactors on ships.
You'll manage teams, ensure projects run smoothly, and work with contractors to keep everything safe and on track.

You will serve as a Nuclear Engineer in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department, Nuclear Project Engineers (C/2301.6) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, and reviewing nuclear engineering projects including functions related to refueling, alteration, repair, maintenance, and testing modifications of nuclear reactor plants.
