Summary

About the Position: Serve as Chief, Business Management Division, for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio RIver Division, Headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes advising on project management, strategic planning, and business development to include development of near and long-term strategies and methods for institutionalization and sustainment; developing and implementing strategic plans in support of the Programs and Project Management Business Process; and conducting research and analysis into strategic initiatives to explore alternatives and concepts for developing changes to an organizations strategic direction.

Major Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the operations of the Business Management Office.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans in support of the Programs and Project Management Business Process.
  • Manage regional governance, planning, outreach, quality assurance programs, and other business-related functions.
  • Conduct broad research and analysis into strategic initiatives to explore alternatives and concepts for developing recommended changes to the Division's strategic direction.
  • Provide the full breadth of technical and administrative supervision.
