This job is for a program manager at U.S.
Customs and Border Protection, where you'll oversee high-priority projects, create plans to meet agency goals, and ensure everything runs on time and within budget.
You'll also analyze how well programs are working, prepare reports and briefings for top leaders, and review long-term work plans to suggest improvements.

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S.
Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Operations Directorate, Field Readiness Division in Washington, DC.
Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Proactively identified high-priority projects, developed comprehensive program plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and completion of responsibilities on time and to standard; Preparing detailed evaluation reports and delivering briefings for senior leadership on the application of programming, financial management, budget planning, project control, purchasing of supplies and equipment, and logistics; Conducting in-depth evaluations of program effectiveness, analyzing performance data, identifying trends and recommending improvements to leadership; Reviewing multi-year work plans for completeness and providing constructive feedback in a professional and developmental manner.

Law Enforcement Operation Division (Field Liaison) The Law Enforcement Operations Division (LEOD) supports Field Offices across the nation by offering strategic guidance, maintaining consistent communication, facilitating timely and appropriate resource allocation, and ensuring accountability both to and from the field.
Emergency Response Division The Emergency Response Division aims to enhance OFO's readiness by focusing on planning and preparedness efforts that ensure the continuity of mission-essential functions, fostering a resilient organization capable of responding to planned events and all-hazard incidents.
Enforcement Operations Branch The Enforcement Operations Branch was created to enhance the planning and preparation of effective operations across various operational environments.
As a specialized division, EOD is dedicated to developing, coordinating, supporting, and monitoring all national-level enforcement operations within OFO.
Use of Force Branch The Use of Force Branch provides oversight, guidance, and policy development related to the application of force by personnel in the field to include analyzing use of force incidents, ensuring compliance with legal and policy standards, developing training programs, and advising leadership on operational strategies to minimize risks while maintaining public safety and operational effectiveness.
National Canine Enforcement Programs (NCEP) The National Canine Enforcement Program involves overseeing the strategic direction, management, and operational support of canine teams deployed across the nation with responsibilities to include developing policies and procedures, coordinating training programs, ensuring compliance with national standards, managing resource allocation, and evaluating program effectiveness.
It serves as a central point for advancing innovative practices and maintaining the operational readiness of canine teams nationwide.
In this Program Manager position you will become a key member of a team of professionals managing a variety of diverse programs and/or services of the organization.
This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $158,322.00 (GS-13 Step 10).
