This job involves leading the financial and contract side of a cyber security program for naval research, handling budgets, tracking spending, and coordinating with teams to meet project goals.
It's perfect for someone with experience in government or defense project management who enjoys solving complex money and contract problems.
You'll act as the main contact for funding issues and help ensure the program's success from start to finish.
You will serve as a Program Management Specialist in the Automation and Control R&D Branch; Machinery Research & Silencing Division; Machinery Research, Logistics and Ship Integrity Department of NSWC PHILA DIV.
You will serve as Strategic Cyber Physical Security Initiative (SCPI) Program Management Specialist.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing or analyzing a program's financial or contractual operations, metrics, or goals.
Examples of specialized experience may include: overseeing program financial operations to track and monitor funding documents, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions; developing program financial plans and schedules, estimating resources, and determining program milestones or deliverables; monitoring financial or contracting activities to resolve discrepancies or ensure program goals are met.
