Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing military and civilian personnel resources for naval commands in Europe and Africa, including planning workforce needs, maintaining staffing documents, and ensuring compliance with policies.
A good fit would be someone with experience in human resources or workforce planning, especially in military or government settings, who enjoys analyzing organizational structures and solving staffing challenges.
You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Manpower Management Branch of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing total force manpower systems to manage the personnel workforce; 2) Administering all military and civilian manpower programs; and 3) Applying all aspects of military manpower such as billet management, manning and distribution to validate manpower requirements.
