Full Job Description

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Project Support Division, Supply Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with the analysis of metrics/data related to warehousing or delivery processes to increase the productivity of business operations, readiness, costs.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will work with all levels within the organization and with senior managers/staff from other Shipyard departments, occasionally with NAVSEA staff.
  • You will provide program support to obtain commitments for resources: obtain non-labor materials and equipment, approve Job Material Lists, (JML)s, contracts and more, establish budgets and controls to ensure expenditure remain with budgets.
  • You will set up share folders and provide access to databases, programs and folders to communicate and record project scope, schedules, tasks, results and assessments, maintain awareness of project progress, overcome difficulties.
  • You will assist the Project Support Division Head in areas pertaining to metrics, data and statistical analysis using various computer systems to gather data, and apply analytical concepts and principles to assist management with problems.
  • You will help management with problem identification, business solutions, productivity and improving costs, scheduling, quality, safety, security and training.
  • You will use computer applications, such as spreadsheets, databases and graphic applications to extract data from databases in the Shipyard.
  • You will have experience and ability to identify and consistently implement controls to ensure physical and informational security requirements are maintained.
