Full Job Description

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of programs and operations developing cost analyses of projects, performing cost benefit, economic evaluations of current or projected programs involving work related to management and program analysis and knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of policies and programs for participating in or conducting operations such as Foreign Military Sales (FMS), contingency, or similar operations.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

As a Program Analyst at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Analyze effectiveness of work flow processes and provides recommendations on various process improvement initiatives.

Prepare organization directives, memorandum, policy statements, and other written guidelines and makes recommendations policies.

Utilizes various software applications used to collects data for quality and productivity trends needed for internal/external process improvement and staffing purposes.

Prepares and delivers data driven presentations to various stakeholders to aide in decision making and process/procedural improvements.

Review cases, evaluate training tools, and train/mentor new & existing employees. Oversees and manages various tasking for the organization.
