This job involves leading a team of mechanics in a naval shipyard's pipe shop, where you'll oversee repairs and overhauls on production machinery, ensure everything runs smoothly, and handle any issues that come up.
It's a hands-on role that requires fixing complex equipment and guiding others on the best ways to do the work.

You will serve as a PRODUCTION MACHINERY MECHANIC LEADER in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, PIPE SHOP (Code 960) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
