This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted position for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER, Position Description Number PDD1259000, and is part of the SC UTES, South Carolina Army National Guard.
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION OPEN TO THE FOLLOWING AREA OF CONSIDERATION (AOC): Area of Consideration: This position is open to Area 1 Only.
Area 1: Current employees of the South Carolina Army National Guard (Tenure 1 and 2) Area 2: Current members of the South Carolina Army National Guard Area 3: Any individual eligible for membership in the South Carolina Army National Guard MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience, education or training working with people from various levels and backgrounds.
Experience with a general knowledge of the functions and procedures of production control, records, references, and techniques for developing production control data.
Experience assisting or maintaining workflow.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Use the Office of Personnel Management Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Clerical and Administrative Support Positions Specialized Experience time requirements of 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level.
Experience, education or training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities.
Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility.
Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes.
Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.

This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. 3.

This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4/G-4), Surface Maintenance Facility.
The purpose of this position is to plan, schedule, control, and monitor the status of equipment maintenance; and to assist a higher-graded Production Controller.
Work involves planning, estimating, scheduling, and expediting the use of manpower, machines, and materials in the fabrication or repair of equipment and supply items by mechanical production methods.
