Job Description
This position is a key member of the Water Production Team within the Facilities Operations Division. The position is responsible for providing engineering and technical support to the facility.

Essential Duties
  • Perform and coordinate design reviews – incorporate Operations/ Maintenance/OTS comments and edits.
  • Coordinate with plant staff and contractors on performance testing of new equipment and systems.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize water treatment processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance plant performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades of treatment systems and equipment.
  • Conduct data analysis on flow rates, chemical dosing, and water quality parameters to identify trends and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects, plant expansions, and technology upgrades.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to plant operators and maintenance staff.

  • This job is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule after an initial probationary period and individual approval.
Grade
The grade for this position is 107.

Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and
