This job involves leading a team that handles communications and relationships with Congress and other government groups for a naval intelligence agency.
You'll advise top leaders on strategy, manage the creation of reports and briefings for lawmakers, and ensure smooth coordination of meetings and visits.
It's a great fit for experienced professionals with strong leadership skills and a background in government relations or policy advising.
You will serve as Chief of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at the GG-15/Band 5 of NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-14 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1.
Lead, manage, and oversee the drafting of congressional correspondence; 2. Formulate and advise senior leaders regarding long term planning, strategic direction, and engagement strategies; 3.
Lead, manage, and motivate teams to ensure products are aligned with organizational requirements and delivered on time; AND 4.
Develop and maintain relationships with interagency counterparts and congressional staff.
