Full Job Description

This MANAGEMENT ANALYST position, is located in the Maintenance Group of an Air National Guard (ANG) flying Wing and is part of the CA 163 ATKW.

General Experience: Possess experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes and principles of management; Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques; Experience using computer and automation systems.

MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, in: application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management: Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Financial Management Information Management Interpersonal Skills Planning and Evaluating Major Duties:

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION. Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 5 years.

Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered.

The primary purpose of the MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-9, is to evaluate and manage the Wing's Aviation Petroleum, Oil & Lubrication (AVPOL) program; serves as the Wing Refueling Document Control Officer (WRDCO); manages all aspects of the Unit's Flying Hour Program funds; and provides support to the supply functions within the Group.

Formulates and consolidates budget inputs, trend analysis, and execution evaluations of all Maintenance Group funding requirements.

May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
