Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing the setup, tracking, and maintenance of equipment configurations for the Navy's expeditionary systems, ensuring everything from initial purchase to final disposal runs smoothly and stays up to date with changes.
You'll work with data databases, review quality, and team up with acquisition groups to keep equipment reliable.

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the CONFIGURATION & TECHNICAL DATA BRANCH of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring configuration management is implemented within expeditionary equipment as well as supporting cradle-to-grave sustainment logistics' support; 2) Performing data entry of configuration data elements within the configuration status accounting database; 3) Conducting quality data reviews and analyses of configuration data within the configuration status accounting database; 4) Ensuring fielded baseline configurations are in alignment with documentation captured within the status accounting database inclusive of approved changes/alterations/modifications; and 5) Assisting with conducting configuration verifications and audits.

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing support work with responsibility for planning, logistic analysis, and coordination for a portion of a major system's acquisition and transfer into operational use or for a subsystem or group of like smaller systems; 2) Performing logistics technical duties in reviewing material, equipment, or systems for compliance with specifications for evaluation in terms of operational use; related to shipping, transportation, and material disposition; and 3) Reviewing logistics technical aspects of applications, designs, or proposed plans for compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and specification **NOTE** This information must be clearly supported in your resume.
