The Pennsylvania Lottery is looking for an experienced, energetic sales professional to serve a specific sales territory within the Erie and Crawford County area.
As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will support current retailers and work with them to grow their sales. You will also use your sales skills to recruit new retailers, explain the benefits of joining our network, and share tips to help them succeed. Requirements
As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will help find new businesses that want a lottery license and support current lottery retailers so they can meet their sales goals. Work involves checking how well retailers are doing with their sales, visiting stores to make sure they follow the Lottery’s accessibility rules, and provide training and support to help them improve. You will be responsible for explaining lottery rules and procedures, review and explain sales data, and use basic marketing and sales skills. You will also have the opportunity to help retailers decide where to place lottery signs and equipment in their stores and take part in different sales and promotional events. Lastly, you will be required to use a web-based portal, PC and iPad, and have the ability to read and understand sales information.

This position is home headquartered, however you would be expected to report to the assigned area office on a weekly basis.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM for one week to maintain operational efficiency and maximize service to the Lottery and the public.
- Overtime may be required.
- You must be able to work and drive in all types of weather conditions.
- This position is home headquartered, however you will be expected to report to the assigned area office on a weekly basis.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work; or
- Any equivalent experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Additional Requirements:
- You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos, or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners.
- This position will travel to cover Erie and Crawford County. The candidate must reside in Erie and Crawford County in one of the following zip codes: 16316, 16335, 16403, 16406, 16412, 16422, 16424, 16433, 16440. Relocation is not an option.
- You must have four or more years of sales experience.
- You must have four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.
- You must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
- You must be available to work the required work schedule of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM for one week.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
