You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Logistic Management Operational Analysis Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Major Duties:

• Manages distribution facilities, subsistence storage, surface and airlift transportation, inventory and quality controls, automated systems, and equipment.
• Establish a reporting system that evaluates current operations, system changes, enhancements and provides feedback from end users to identify areas for improvement.
• Review correspondence, reports, studies, and recommendations prepared within the organizational element for conformance with governing policy, functionality and mission needs.
• Recommend plans and or controls from any instructions from senior leadership requiring implementation.
• Furnish technical and/or functional advice as it applies to all aspects of distribution, logistics, transportation and inventory management systems.
