THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1177000 and is part of the TN ARMY, National Guard.
This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 103 (Volunteer Chapter).
Military Grades: E-6 through E-7 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field; Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 24 months specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities); experience planning and organizing work assignments.
Major Duties:
As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-11, you will develop, implement and evaluate the logistic policies for the organization.
Ensure compliance with the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs.
Provide guidance and funds management for all decentralized logistic funds. May be required to represent the National Guard and the unit Commander in the community.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization. Perform other duties as assigned.
