This position is located in Facilities and Logistics Branch under the Facilities, Acquisition, and Logistics Services Division of PFPA.
The incumbent will perform the day-to-day monitoring and coordination of the PFPA logistics program to ensure the proper development of policies and procedures, program guidance, review, and evaluation of the execution of the of the overall functions of PFPA in conformance with DoW policies, regulations, standards, and the needs of PFPA.

Mission essential employees may be required to report for, or remain at, work in dismissal or closure situations due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other emergency situations (e.g., building closure due to power outage) causing disruptions of government operations, and are required to maintain contact with their supervisor during any dismissal or closure situation unless specifically excused by their supervisor.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to: Leading supply and inventory management operations; and Developing supply management procedures in compliance with operation requirements; and Conducting supply and logistics operations to recommend actions for improvement.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Performs day-to-day monitoring and coordination of the PFPA logistics program to ensure the proper development of policies and procedures, program guidance, review, and evaluation of the execution of the of the overall functions of PFPA in conformance with DoW policies, regulations, standards, and the needs of PFPA.
Advises the supervisor on all matters concerning logistics, supply, and property management policy.
Responsible for the interpretation and implementation of internal policies, procedures, guidelines, and instructions pertaining to management of workflow, workload, and resources.
Manages all aspects of day-to-day operation of the PFPA's spaces, facilities, and construction management programs.
Develops and coordinates office configuration to maximize space utilization, including security and other facility requirements.
Conducts periodic reviews of PFPA activities to ensure space, facility, property, and construction management policies are adhered to.
The incumbent performs all responsibilities and duties of the assistant Property Book Officer for PFPA.
Initiates and follow up on all property matters including annual inventories of property accounts.
Ensures that property practices and procedures are in accordance with applicable directives and regulations.
Acts as the initial point of contact for receipt of property items obtained through procurement and/or requisition actions.
Assists in establishing and maintaining financial and accounting controls to enable management officials to effectively manage their progress.
