Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring secure systems for Navy installations, including emergency network maintenance and coordinating with contractors.
It also includes developing policies and training users to meet operational needs.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on IT experience in customer service, problem-solving, and working in high-stakes environments like government or military settings.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide technical assistance in reviewing, evaluating, testing, and maintaining programs and translating and interpreting functional requirements.2) plan and schedule the procurement and installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and application software; 3) provide onsite emergency radio and emergency network support for operation, maintenance and troubleshooting issues; 4) provide IT training and represent customer needs in contract discussions.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
