In this position you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist with primary focus on facility management and control systems and server infrastructure, providing mission support for multiple agencies in a combined services environment.
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement, including specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
FOR THE GS-12 LEVEL: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-11 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates: Providing IT system administration services and operational support for IT infrastructure including hardware, networking, operating system, storage, or application layer issues in a scientific, laboratory environment.
Manage, configure, support, and implement audio visual technologies used in video teleconferencing, conference room technology, video surveillance, and telemetry as well as supporting VoIP telephony.
Provide operational support, configuration, and planning for Facility-Related Control Systems.
In addition, all applicants qualifying based on experience must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
