Full Job Description

You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST in the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Information Technology Operations Branch, Information Technology Services Division, Information Technology Services Department, of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Experience developing scripts for domain and systems management utilizing Windows based scripting capabilities.

Experience domain level configurations, structures, settings and modifications are in accordance with information assurance (IA) technical controls.

Experience ensuring commercial off the shelf (COTS) and government off-the shelf (GOTS) installations, and modifications are in accordance with information assurance (IA) technical controls.

Experience providing consultation and research in support of future system designs such as hardware and software studies and market research and life cycle replacement of existing Windows based hardware capabilities.

Experience assisting contracting officer's representatives (COR) in drafting statements of work (SOW) as required and assisting COR's in evaluating deliverables.

-AND- Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.

  • You will integrate server and desktop computing and commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications and government off the shelf (GOTS) applications in support of oceanographic data analysis.
  • You will perform as a domain level system administrator responsible for authentication capabilities, PKI/CAC, tiered user accounts, and domain objects and policies.
  • You will serve as a project manager for a team of specialized, operating system or unique technologies computer scientist and information technology system administrators.
  • You will develop project plans and implement schedules for assigned projects.
  • You will identify technical, schedule, manpower, and resource requirements need to meet project objectives.
