Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT of JOINT TYPHOON WARCEN PEARL HARBOR HI.
To qualify for a GS-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience serving as a system administrator for Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) systems such as Raytheon High Speed Guard, Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System and FMQ-17/26 systems.
Experience planning, scheduling and participating in the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems and applications software.
Experience managing user and administrator accounts, network permissions, and access to systems and equipment. Experience resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
Experience managing the installation and integration of systems fixes, updates, and enhancements including Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), Computer Network Directives (CND), and additional authoritative guidance.
Experience in learning and utilizing information technology (IT) concepts, principles, methods, and practices.
Experience in administering systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 or greater, VMware vSphere 7.0 or greater, Windows 10, and Junos OS. AND 1.
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Developing, documenting, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
