Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team in handling human resources tasks focused on information systems, such as processing employee paperwork, ensuring everything follows rules, and training others on HR software.

It's a supervisory role in a federal law enforcement training agency, where you'll manage workloads and solve complex issues to keep personnel records accurate and up-to-date.

Key Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 (for GS-12) or GS-12 (for GS-13) in federal HR, including overseeing personnel actions and auditing for compliance

Major Duties:

Serving as a Lead Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems) GS-0201-12/13 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission.

This position is located in the Workforce Support Branch (WSB), Human Capital Office (HCO), Mission and Readiness Support Directorate (MRSD) at FLETC in Glynco, Georgia.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support and management of various HR specialties as they relate to system processes/functions/capabilities and the infrastructure supporting the HR information system(s), and information technology concepts, practices, and procedures.
