Our team performs provider audits, detects potential fraud, and monitors corrective actions. Requirements

As a Human Services Program Specialist Supervisor, you will oversee the activities of a staff that includes Human Services Program Specialists, Quality Improvement Information Specialist, and Medical Economists.

You will collaborate with program integrity (PI) supervisors to identify special projects, as well as analyze data related to fraud, waste, and abuse.

You will also respond to provider and beneficiary complaints.

This role requires a high level of focus and attention to detail while working collaboratively with outside contractors, DHS staff, and individuals across departments.

In addition, you will coordinate internal and external audits, develop new systems to enhance productivity, and serve as a Program Integrity liaison for all PROMISe related issues, resource coordination, and enhancement requests.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Free parking
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Services Program Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
