As a Human Resource Analyst 2, you will serve as the Employee Relations Coordinator for the Allegheny CAO and Allegheny Customer Service Center (CSC) for all employee relations related to employees covered by the AFSCME and SEIU Bargaining Unit Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding.
Within this role, you will also serve as the back-up for health and safety, workplace violence (WPV), and continuity of operations (COOP) coordinator.
You will be responsible for managing grievances, conducting investigations by interviewing grievants, supervisors, and witnesses to gather witness statements and evidence, and preparing investigation reports to include all relevant documentation.
This position advises management and supervisory staff on labor issues and interprets contracts accordingly.
You will provide guidance and recommendations to management regarding disciplinary matters, in addition to attending disciplinary meetings and delivering disciplinary letters.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
