Requirements
As a Human Services Analyst, you will independently review, interpret, and analyze statewide Medical Assistance policies for a diverse range of programs, including maternal and pediatric care, specialized therapies, and long-term nursing services. In this role, you will function as a subject matter expert, making decisions to develop the official procedures, standards, and handbooks that govern the delivery and payment of these services. This includes managing everything from Healthy Beginnings Plus and early intervention to traumatic brain injury and school based programs. Beyond program oversight, you will coordinate the operational activities for provider payments and monitor federal and state laws to ensure departmental compliance. By evaluating court decisions and regulatory shifts, you will determine when policy revisions are necessary for existing programs and new departmental initiatives. Your work provides the administrative and regulatory framework for health care benefit packages, ensuring that clinical services are delivered and reimbursed effectively across the Commonwealth.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
