This job involves creating and running training programs to help employees grow their skills, especially in a naval organization dealing with changing technology and workforce needs.
You'll advise managers on career paths, assess training gaps, and evaluate how well programs work.

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT) in the Human Capital Management Group, Career Development Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Designing, developing, and delivering employee development programs, training curricula, or workforce learning initiatives; 2) Conducting training needs assessments, gap analyses, or competency assessments to identify organizational learning requirements; 3) Advising supervisors and leadership on employee development strategies, career progression pathways, and training solutions; 4) Evaluating training program effectiveness using metrics, feedback tools, and performance data; and 5) Managing or coordinating training programs such as: Mandatory training compliance, Leadership development programs, new employee orientation, Career development programs and Talent management initiatives.
