Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves helping the Navy hire and place civilian employees by managing the full recruitment process, advising on pay and benefits, and solving staffing problems.
It's ideal for someone with HR experience who enjoys guiding managers and applicants through federal hiring rules.

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION (BP-051) of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying recruitment, placement and pay setting principles, concepts, laws, regulation, and policies to provide authoritative staffing advisory and technical services; 2) Developing rating factors and determining ranking and selective factors of job qualifications by conducted job analyses using research, interview, observation, and analytical techniques to analyze information; 3) Developing solutions to staffing issues using human resources function to identify, investigate, and coordinate resolution of complex, interrelated HR problems; 4) Utilizing DoD human resources database systems to query, retrieve, and analyze information; 5) Manage requests for personnel action from cradle to grave and provides advice/assistance in all stage of the recruitment process; and 6) Respond to employee, applicant and manager on recruitment and placement inquiries.
