Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

This position is located in the Bureau of Human Resources/ Talent Acquisition Managing Directorate/Office of Intake Planning and Onboarding/Communication and Pipeline Division (HR/TAC/IPO/COM).
HRT/IPO oversees policy and operational matters involving entry into the Foreign Service, provides communications to candidates in the Foreign Service pipeline, and onboards individuals into the Foreign Service and Paid Student Internship programs.

Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience resolving complex integrated foreign or civil service human resources problems and identifying the most effective approach.
Experience providing authoritative management advisory services of HR functional areas. Experience enhancing operational efficiency by streamlining and automating human resources processes or programs.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
To be considered well-qualified, in addition to meeting minimum qualifications, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in some, but not all of the major aspects of the position. Major Duties:
